With AP exams and projects rapidly coming around the corner, Redwings are in a frenzy of preparation. The fruits of their hard work are finally being put to the test. This is a stressful period for all, but hopefully one that will turn out to be a success for all of our Redwing AP scholars.
Sophomore Caitlin Reese, who is taking AP European History and AP Research, says she is reviewing all of the content in her AP European History class and plans to hand-make study guides. In preparation to hit her deadline in AP research, she is working on perfecting her paper and presentation. AP Researchers have been hacking away at their projects tirelessly for the entirety of the school year. They perform interviews, send out surveys, execute literary reviews, and take on a plethora of other tasks in order to complete their projects. Reese’s advice to future AP students is “to not procrastinate because [she] did and is feeling overwhelmed.”
Senior Benet student Keira Geraci is currently taking AP Psychology and AP Art. For AP Psychology, she is in the midst of the review process, and for AP Ar,t she has put together a portfolio.
Her advice for AP students is to “really get to know the unit once you learn it so that you save yourself a lot of time before the exam!”
AP classes can seem daunting and relentless; however, one must not let that stigma control them. AP season is the time to show off the impeccable skillsets that have been formulated throughout this year. Whether APs are a friend or a foe, the Benet Herald wishes the best of luck to all students as this exciting time quickly approaches.
