High school sports can be a fun way to spend some time after school playing a sport you like and spending time with other people who also like that sport. A fun question to ask, though, is how many sports can someone theoretically play. Currently, Benet offers 26 athletics programs: 12 for boys and 14 for girls.
To start off their busy year, our athlete would play a fall sport like golf or football (flag or tackle). After that season concludes somewhere in between the middle of October to early November, the athlete would transition to a winter sport. Some examples of winter sports are basketball or boys swimming. After that, our athlete would join the track team in the middle of January, but only for the indoor season. This is because right as the spring comes, the athlete is competing in baseball, softball, boys tennis, boys volleyball, or girls soccer. This would bring the grand total to four different sports.
Altogether, the maximum number of sports you can compete in at Benet is four (technically there is no limit but this is the maximum number that is possible). It is important to keep in mind that it would be difficult to make the team, let alone be successful, in all of these different sports, but possible. Additionally, it would be challenging to balance school work and other activities with this crazy sports schedule, but again possible. So that answers the question “How many sports can you play in?” FOUR.
