Hello readers! My name is Clare Hruby, and I am a sophomore at Benet. I am so excited to continue writing for the Benet Herald! At Benet, I am involved in Orchesis, the Benet Theater Association, ASL Club, History Club, and the Yearbook Club. Outside of school, I volunteer at the Lisle Library, work at Kidz Kabaret, and participate in Impact, a Youth Group at St. Joan of Arc. I hope to one day become a doctor, but I also love the fine arts, so I want to major in art history! I love making art, reading, and learning the Latin language. I especially enjoy watching Broadway shows. The Phantom of the Opera is definitely my favorite.

I cannot wait to write for the Herald this year! I really enjoyed interviewing, documenting, and recording different events last year. I love writing articles, because I think it is very important to always have written records of events. I hope to become a better writer through the Herald and create interesting articles for all readers!
