Hello, everyone! My name is Stella Grant, and I am a current sophomore here at Benet for the 2024 - 2025 school year. I am involved in a variety of activities at Benet Academy, such as Wind Ensemble, Chorus, Marching Band, Investment Club, Careers in STEM Club, ASL Club, Benet Scholars, Rocket Team, Girls Swimming, and Girls Track and Field. During my limited free time, I enjoy crocheting, hanging out with friends, and volunteering. Last April, my sister and I organized “The Rundown” – a nonprofit organization that paired Benet track athletes and people with Down Syndrome –  to perform exercises, complete challenges, and have some fun. We are both excited to host this event again this year, and we are hoping to recruit a larger number of volunteers. My interests as of late have been engineering, biology, veterinary science, finance, and zoology. I am extremely excited for my first year with the Benet Herald, and I can’t wait to write about the interesting events that take place here at the Academy for others to read. Benet is a wonderful and often mysterious place, so I hope to share it through my writing to the wider community!
