Hello! My name is Nico Pieper, and I am currently a junior at Benet Academy. I am a writer for the Benet Herald, and am excited to both write articles with this club and also learn new skills during the year. At Benet, I am a part of the Varsity Boys Lacrosse program, where we earned a playoff spot and eventually reached the super-sectional bracket last spring. I am also serving as a captain for the Benet Boys Swim Team this winter. Academically, I am involved in Student Government, Investment Club, and the Benet Herald. Outside of Benet, I play club lacrosse and also work and volunteer at my local golf club during the summer. A fun fact about me is that I’m very interested in the functions of the government and aspire to be a lawyer in the future. I am most interested to write about our sports teams, since I find them very exciting and action-packed.
