My name is Meaghan Russ and I am a freshman here at Benet Academy. Before high school, I attended The Cathedral of St. Raymond in Joliet. At Benet, I run cross country, sing in both choir and Mass Choir, and participate in the Yearbook Club. My love of writing led me to join the Benet Herold staff, and I hope to write many articles for it. When I am not in school, I love to read and play video games, especially the Final Fantasy VII franchise. I go to Mass every Sunday, and typically either altar serve or lector at the Cathedral. Choosing a favorite in any category is difficult for me, and my classes this year are no exception. Even though I know high school will be challenging at times, I hope to make the most of it.
