Hello! My name is Lauren Smith, and I am a freshman at Benet Academy. This year I am on the freshman volleyball and softball teams. Outside of athletics, I am part of the Benet Herald and World Culture Club. In my free time, I work as an assistant volleyball coach at my old grade school. I am very interested in History and Biology. A fun fact about me is that I love rollercoasters, especially at Six Flags Great America. This year, I am most excited to write about the volleyball teams through the Benet Herald, because I love volleyball and can’t wait to share the exciting accomplishments of the teams with the Benet community.
