My name is Jocelyn Jeka, and I am a senior at Benet Academy. I have been a writer for the Benet Herald since my Junior year. I am currently a part of Orchesis and Benet Buddies, and I have also been a part of Benet Theater, track, choir, and cheer in the past. I like trying new things and putting myself out of my comfort zone. Outside of Benet, I have created a writing program at my house where I teach younger children about reading and writing, which I consider to be one of my biggest accomplishments. Some of my main interests are in journalism, creative writing, and psychology, all of which I hope to continue after I graduate from Benet. I enjoy being a writer for the Benet Herald because I get to write about events going on in the school and share them with my fellow classmates.
