Hello! My name is Ellie Markos, and I am a sophomore at Benet. I graduated from Saint John of the Cross in Western Springs, and I am incredibly excited to be writing for the Herald. At Benet, I am also involved in Guitar Club, theatre, Art Club, choir,  and the Benet Scholars Program. Outside of Benet activities, I like to read, play my guitar, crochet, sing, write, draw, bake, and participate at the Children’s Theatre of Western Springs. I serve as an epistle reader at my Church and volunteer with its children’s programs. I am so excited to be a part of the Herald this school year and bring breaking news to the community.
