Our Redwings were very busy this break. Whether it was sports, quality family time, vacations, or you name it, our Redwings made the most of their two week break and are now ready to take on the spring semester with full force.
From the freshman class, Quinn Johnson says she spent her break skiing with her family in Utah and is looking forward to her first school dance during 2nd semester.
Sophomore Lauren Carrigan says she spent quality time with her friends and family over break and is looking forward to the special spaces room makeover projects this semester. Another sophomore, Patrick Schimmel, traveled to Florida over break. He visited his cousins and Grandma, played golf, and swam. He said it was, “very nice to relax after all of the hard work put in during finals week.” This semester he is looking forward to playing golf and getting ready for the fall golf season of his junior year.
Juniors Preslie Peterson and Brayden Balsamo also enjoyed their breaks. Peterson said that she “went to Montana and Arizona to visit family and old friends.” She commented that it was super fun and a very nice break. She said she is looking forward to meeting new people and starting Benet soccer in the spring. Balsamo described his break to not be too eventful but he is very excited to perform in Benet’s spring musical, Annie, and for the Bass Fishing team to start up.
Ryan Earley, a senior in his final semester at Benet, said he spent his break in Mexico with some family and friends from Benet. He is looking forward to the Guitar Show in March as well as spring sports.
As we move into a new season, Redwings are filled with energy from their winter vacation and cannot wait for what is to come.
