Benet Academy is buzzing with energy as the 2025-2026 school year kicks off. Classrooms are decked out, and teachers are eager to welcome students back. The official first day for all students was Wednesday, August 20th, but freshmen enjoyed their first day as Benet students on Tuesday, August 20th. There, freshmen partook in FroshFest.
Many students stepped foot on Benet campus for the first time since last June on Monday, August 18th, checking in to explore their classes, snag some spirit wear, and grab their new IDs. Freshmen also received their locker combinations, easing their transition into high school life. One freshman, Sarah Read, said, “I was really nervous for the first day, but after check-in, Frosh Fest, and the official first day of school; I knew this year would be a blast!”
The Class of 2026 celebrated their final first day of school with a senior sunrise on the first day. As senior Elizabeth Walsh enthusiastically shared, “The first day of school was fun, and the best day so far!” Now, three weeks in, sports are in full gear with daily practices, and clubs are already buzzing with meetings. Students are forming new friendships and getting to know their new teachers. All signs point to an amazing year ahead.
