As we celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2025, we extend our sincere congratulations to these outstanding young men and women. They leave Benet Academy with a solid foundation of faith, knowledge, and character, ready to make a positive impact on the world. We are immensely proud of their achievements and look forward to welcoming them as the newest alumni members of our Benet Family.
As our graduates prepare to take their next steps, Benet Academy is also looking to the future. At its May 7, 2025, meeting, the Benet Academy Board of Directors approved updated Mission and Vision statements that reaffirm our commitment to providing a transformative Catholic, college preparatory education in the Benedictine tradition.
These statements reflect the heart of what makes Benet unique: a strong commitment to faith, academic excellence, and service. They capture the spirit of our Benedictine charisms-prayer, work, balance, and community while providing a clearer articulation of the lifelong impact of a Benet education. The language of these statements was carefully crafted through a highly collaborative process involving faculty, staff, school and board leadership, and was informed by insights gathered from students, parents, and alumni. This broad, inclusive approach ensured the final version truly reflects the shared values and aspirations of the Benet community.
Updated Mission: Benet Academy, a Catholic, college preparatory school rooted in the Benedictine tradition, forms young men and women into compassionate leaders, critical thinkers, and faithful servants of God and neighbor.
Updated Vision: A community for life, the Benet Family inspires servant leaders, shaped by prayer and work, who live the Gospel in today’s world.
With this renewed sense of purpose, we look forward to building on our rich tradition while preparing our students for the challenges and opportunities of an ever-changing world. This fall, we will introduce a new strategic plan that reflects our ongoing commitment to academic excellence, spiritual formation, and leadership development. The plan will guide our efforts to expand opportunities for students, strengthen our community, and ensure the long-term success of our mission.
Thank you for your continued support and commitment to Benet Academy. Together, we will shape the future of our beloved Benet.
In the Benet Family,
