The summer of 2024 will kickstart a new summer program for the incoming freshmen. A collaboration between the Principal’s Office and Admissions Team introduces the reimagined College Prep Tech summer course, the Center for Academic Redwing Enrichment or the CARE program.
The CARE program is designed to connect students through their interests and to cultivate our school culture. To achieve these goals, the CARE program is organized into five distinct classes, each created to grow the student’s proficiency in their area of interest. The five CARE classes are Academy Readers, Advanced Placement Skills, Foundations of Leadership, Math Mindset, and Strategic Technology for Learning. Each day consists of time in the Chapel, classroom work, and an auditorium activity. The auditorium activities are incorporated to grow Benet culture by introducing students to Benet traditions such as the Fight Song. The CARE program aims to be more interactive by carrying out the school’s mission and culture with the incoming freshmen.
