This past Saturday, the Benet community came together for yet another unforgettable Homecoming dance. Hordes of students lined up at 7:30 P.M., filled with anticipation for a night full of festivities and celebration. Benet sophomores and upperclassmen alike arrived, dressed to impress, and filled with optimism over making fond memories of their time at Benet. A DJ kept the energy high by playing popular songs, and ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to hit the dance floor. Students, meanwhile, closely danced to the music and immersed in the lively atmosphere. They sang, danced, took pictures, and reconnected with past friends creating memories to last a lifetime. As the clock approached 10:00 P.M., students circled around to end the night with an adored Benet tradition. Piano Man by Billy Joel rang out as students swayed to the music singing together in harmony. Junior Erin Johnson exclaimed, “It was a night to remember. Benet Academy Student Government and Faculty did a remarkable job setting up decorations and putting the whole event together. I can’t wait to do it all again next year!”
