Benet Academy’s goal is to help prepare their students for the future. Whether students go to college or not, Benet gives students tools that help them for the rest of their lives. One of those tools is experience. Thirteen Benet alumni came to speak about not only their career experience but also their Benet experience. They spoke for students who already knew what field they wanted to go into as well as students who didn’t know what they wanted to do after high school.

The fields ranged from the arts, medicine, engineering, and law. They spoke to students about how they got to where they are today. They discussed classes and clubs they were engaged in at Benet to help give students a vision of how to start on the pathway for that field.

For many Alumni, it was a great opportunity to see their old teachers, and how the school has changed since they were last there. One of the speakers, Evan Lindquist who came to talk about Computer Engineering, gave his opinion on the experience by saying, “It was very exciting to come back during the school day. Being able to talk and share my experience and how Benet helped shape me later on was very rewarding.”

The Career speakers gave great insight into how careers after their time at Benet may be and gave students a new view of Benet Academy.
