On November 17, Benet Academy hosted a sports-themed dance partnered with SEASPAR. SEASPAR is an organization that provides activities for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The SEASPAR dance was set up by Benet Buddies volunteers. In the past, Benet Buddies has partnered with this organization to create various, exciting events.
To ensure the success of this event, students worked diligently to decorate the gym with a variety of colors and sports. Once decorating commenced, guests began to arrive. Volunteers particularly enjoyed seeing all the different sports jerseys.
Benet Academy volunteers had a phenomenal time dancing and spending time with guests. They did a remarkable job, bringing joy to many faces. Sophomore Isabella Leitner stated, “I had a lot of fun meeting new people at the SEASPAR sports dance! It was a great experience and I’d definitely do it again!”
