Formally known as SALT, Benet Academy’s Campus Ministry received a new name. On Tuesday, October 3, 2023, LIFT was launched. LIFT stands for “Living in Faith and Truth”. Deacon Weiland explained the rebrand of SALT saying, “Everything Campus Ministry does comes from faith. This allows us to show the importance of our faith and how we utilize it.” LIFT has many different sub-groups that help all Benet students put their faith into action.

 LIFT Prayer aims to make adoration, confession, and prayer incorporated in everyday life at Benet. LIFT Arts and Music coordinates the music for daily mass. LIFT Retreats coordinates the many retreats at Benet for students. LIFT Spirit strives to get every student excited and involved in Campus Ministry. LIFT Liturgy’s mission is to help students get more involved in their faith through scripture and Mass. LIFT Service facilitates new service ideas throughout the year. LIFT Athletes tie faith and Benet Athletics together through prayer and worship. LIFT Life runs “Life Week” (October 16 – 20) and the March for Life in January. The final sub-group is LIFT Bible Cafe which meets some mornings and read Bible passages together. This year, LIFT strives to elevate each student’s Catholic faith and encourage him or her to live like Jesus while at Benet.
