The Benet Academy Boys JV soccer team had a tremendous victory at the “Neuqua Valley Boys JV Soccer Invite” on September 9th. The final game to seal the 1st place spot Saturday morning went to Penalty Kicks. Ultimately, Benet goalie, Patrick Stasch, prevented all of the kicks made from the opposing team whilst the Redwing penalty takers converted all of their shots. The JV team has deemed Stasch to be the savior of the game but Stasch humbly stated that in this shootout, “it was really just great to see all of our [the team’s] hard work pay off”. The rest of the Benet community is excited to see where this champion team is headed next.
