Totter the Otter: A Christmas Drive Tradition

Christmas Drive is a festive celebration focused on charity that is loved by students and faculty alike. The two weeks of fun and fundraising host many attractions, like Penny Wars, the Beard-Growing contest, Christmas Spectacular, Bacon Fridays and Whip Cream Shots. One of the most highly anticipated features of Christmas Drive is Totter the Otter, Benet’s most famous piece of taxidermy. Though Totter calls Benet’s science department home all year round, he really shines during Christmas time. Totter enjoys the season by posing for pictures and sharing his holiday costume collection. Reindeer horns, elf ears, sunglasses and Santa hats are just a few of the many adorable props available for use when taking your picture with Totter. If you’re lucky, you might even get Santa Claus to photobomb you!
